Vandalia City Council Approves Ordinance Amending Class E Liquor License

The Vandalia City Council approved an ordinance amendment to the Class E liquor license during their meeting Monday night. The amendment to Class E licenses will allow current license holders to apply for an offsite catering permit for “off premises service of alcoholic liquor to be served in conjunction with the catering of food for periods not to exceed 24 hours in duration.” The application fee for the off-site catering permit will be $50. The amendment to Class E comes just a little over a month after an amendment was made to the Class T licenses removing the two a year stipulation for those license per location after no Class T license had been applied for in the previous four years.
