A 26 year old Vandalia man has been sentenced to time in the Department of Corrections. On Thursday, Matthew D. Frayer pled guilty to the charge of obstruction of justice and was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 12 months in prison, to be served consecutive to another Fayette County case in which the defendant pled guilty to the charge of escape and was sentenced to 24 months, both sentences to be served in the Department of Corrections.
A 21 year old Vernon man will serve 48 months in prison. Mason JC Dollins pled guilty to the charges of theft of a motor vehicle over $10,000 and unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, and was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 48 months to be served in the Department of Corrections.
A 57 year old Vandalia man will serve 42 months in the DOC. William A. Hitchcock pled guilty to the charge of aggravated driving under the influence and was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 42 months in prison.
A Patoka man will serve 3 years in prison. John M. Doyle pled guilty to the charge of domestic battery and was sentenced by Judge Sheafor to 36 months in the Department of Corrections.
