(New Weston, OH) — A race car driver is dead after a multi-car crash at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway. The World 100 continued after 35-year-old Shane Unger died. He was severely injured from a crash during a heat race and later died at a hospital. “USA Today” reports that Unger’s car was equipped with the device that stops a driver’s head and neck from moving forward during a collision. The dirt track where the incident happened is owned by NASCAR driver Tony Stewart.
