(Washington, DC) — The man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan is out of the mental hospital he’s spent more than 35 years in. John Hinckley Jr. was released from a Washington, DC-area mental hospital yesterday. A federal judge ruled this summer that Hinckley is not a danger to himself or the public. The judge is allowing Hinckley to live with his elderly mother in Williamsburg, Virginia.
