(Washington, DC) — U.S. Senator Dick Durbin is not happy about action taken on a bill to fund the battle against the Zika virus. Durbin criticized Republicans Wednesday after a billion-dollar funding bill failed to hit a 60-vote threshold in the Senate needed to move forward. Democrats say the bill places some restrictions on Planned Parenthood. Durbin says partisan games are being played with the health of pregnant women and their babies.
