(Edwardsville, IL) — A Metro East eighteen-year-old accused of planning a terror attack is waiting to find out if he’ll be allowed to post bond. A hearing was delayed Wednesday in the case of Keaun Cook of Godfrey after he decided he wanted a public defender. Prosecutors in Madison County allege Cook electronically contacted an unspecified terrorist group. Cook will remain jailed without bond until the next hearing, which is scheduled for Friday.
