Corn planting is on track in Illinois, thanks to a warm and dry past week. Last week was pretty mild, giving producers time to work in the fields says State Crop Statistician Mark Schleusener.
Average statewide topsoil moisture dropped a bit to one percent very short, 9 percent short, 74 percent adequate and 16 percent surplus.
