(Chicago, IL) — Governor Bruce Rauner told reporters today he would support Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee for president. Speaking for the first time since last Tuesday’s primaries, Rauner said because he is the leader of the party in Illinois, he would support the party’s nominee. Rauner wouldn’t discuss specific questions about Trump, saying only, “We should respect the voters’ decisions.”
