The Vandalia School District is moving forward with a plan to install air conditioning at the high school building. Vandalia Superintendent of Schools Rich Well says they making their moves to make this project happen this summer.
And, Well says they will use long term debt and some other funding to pay for the project.
The board accepted a bid from Cenpro Services for $120,300 for asbestos removal and they accepted a bid from Unterbrink Construction for $1,998,970 for the Air Conditioning work.
