A Farina man is facing three charges of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim Under the Age of 13 following his arrest last Friday. Following the initial complaint against 51-year old Larry L. Sapp and subsequent audio and visual interviews with Sapp, probable cause was found in Fayette County Court on Friday and an arrest warrant was issued with the arrest occurring not long after. Bond in the matter is set at $750,000 and Sapp is set to appear with his appointed Public Defender Ed Potter on March 29 at 11am. Sapp is alleged to have committed an act of sexual penetration on a victim under the age of 13 on three separate occasions. Each charge is a Class X Felony, which is punishable by 6 to 60 years in prison if convicted.
