The Lady Vandals saw their season come to a close as they fall to T-Town 46-34 in the championship game of the Cumberland 2A Regional. After leading 10-7 after the first quarter, the Lady Vandals held that lead until the closing seconds of the half when a three pointer before the buzzer put the Wooden Shoes up 18-16 going into halftime. Early in the 3rd quarter, senior Makayla Tinker would hit two free throws with the second one being her 1,000th career point along with 5 more points in the quarter and Leah Francis would score 4 to keep the Lady Vandals within a couple points, 29-27 after the third. The T-Town offense would hit three 3-pointers and pull away however as they went on to claim the Regional title. Tinker finished with 19 points for the Lady Vandals while Olivia Marquardt tallied 6 points and Leah Francis added 4 points. The Lady Vandals end their season with a record of 18-13. T-Town will now move onto the Pana Sectional.
