(Los Angeles, CA) — Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta has thrown the sixth no-hitter of the season. Arrieta kept the Dodgers hitless in Chicago’s 2-0 win Sunday night in Los Angeles. Arrieta struck out 12, walked one and threw 116 pitches in the first no-hitter of his career. Kris Bryant provided all the run support Arrieta needed with a two-run homer in the first. Chicago avoided a three-game sweep and snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory. The Cubs are back at Wrigley Field tonight to host the Reds.
