(Champaign, IL) — The University of Illinois is now planning on dismissing Chancellor Phyllis Wise after not accepting her resignation. The Board of Trustees voted yesterday to reject a 400-thousand-dollar bonus and start dismissal procedures. Dean Barbara Wilson was appointed the acting chancellor and Wise has been reassigned as a special assistant to University President Timothy Killeen.
