(Chicago, IL) — Attorneys for former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich are asking the full 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear his appeals case. The motion was filed yesterday after a three-judge panel decided to throw out five of his 18 fraud convictions last month. In his first statement since entering prison in 2012, Blagojevich said yesterday that he must “fight on.”
