(St. Louis, MO) — The St. Louis Cardinals are adding slugger Brandon Moss for the stretch run. The Cards acquired the 31-year-old outfielder from the Cleveland Indians for left-handed prospect Rob Kaminsky. Moss is batting just .217 this season, but has belted 15 home runs and driven in 50. The moves comes after Cardinals All-Star left fielder Matt Holliday reinjured a quad in Wednesday’s game against Cincinnati. The same injury cost him 31 games earlier this season.
